EQUIPMENT + NOTIONS

The pattern is written for Standard Gauge knitting machines (4.5mm or 5mm) with ribber bed. The rib trims can be hand manipulated and created without a ribber.

STITCHES + TECHNIQUES

The Carreau Top uses a single-bedtuck stitch pattern in the body and has a tucked, scalloped rib trim.

The needles used for the tuck stitch pattern can be hand selected or you can use machine with a punch card or electronic programming.

NOTES

The pattern can be made with the same width from the hem to chest (as pictured) or waist/chest shaping can be added. Directions for both options are included.

The pattern will have instructions for a sleeveless top (as shown) and a set-in-sleeve top. Photos forthcoming!1750
