Private Machine Knitting Lessons in New York – Fall 2025
My Rhinebeck classes filled up quickly and I’ve heard from a few of you who didn’t make it in. Since I’ll be in town for several days around the festival, I’m opening up a few one-on-one lesson slots in the Hudson Valley and Albany area. I love connecting with knitters everywhere 😊.
You can use an LK150 provided by me or I’m happy to travel to you so that you can learn on your knitting machine! I can also deliver a newly purchased machine and help you get set up.
What You Can Expect
A private session includes:
Machine setup or cleaning
Stitch technique help
Troubleshooting
Pattern modification or design
- Whatever you want! This is your time.
Learning on your own machine is ideal but I can provide an LK150 if desired.

Sessions are booked in 2-hour blocks, and we’ll coordinate the exact time and place via email after you sign up.
Lessons are $280 for 2 hours and include hands-on help tailored to your goals.

There’s something wonderful about sitting down at the machine with someone. Simply moving stitches, answering questions, building muscle memory and setting your own pace. That’s what I hope these sessions offer: a bit of rhythm and calm, a space to ask all the questions or finally tackle that technique that’s been tripping you up.
