Anomaly Scarf

$8.00

A bold machine knitting pattern—the Anomaly Scarf features tucked ribs with an unexpected twist. The design is inspired by both a beautiful peony flower (paeonia anomala) and the delightfully odd shape of the final piece.

The Anomaly Scarf machine knitting pattern offers a rewarding project for intermediate knitters who are comfortable with their ribber. I designed the pattern for 4 ply/fingering weight wool and standard gauge knitting machines like the SK280 and SRP60N. It’s a relatively quick knit once you get going!

I recommend Brown Sheep’s Nature Spun as a yarn substitution. It’s a minimally processed, high-quality yarn that supports sustainable farming practices and small American mills—an ideal choice for eco-conscious crafters.
